If you are new to the world of excercises, or you are unsure about the effectiveness of the work you are doing or planning to do, you are the most welcome at an online consultation round that will aid you setting your legs and wheels spinning.The topics that we typically touch include, but are not limited to advices on warming up, setting a sustainable pace for longer rides, discussing best nutrition practices before, during and after the ride.
  • Duration: 90minutes (online or in person)
  • Goals:
    • Understand your sport background
    • Understand your current level of knowledge about cycling
    • Get information about your preferred discipline
    • Listen to the goals that you wish to achieve and give feedback about how realistic they are
    • Draw up a rough plan to achieve them
    • Advise you on the equipment that you need/not need (e.g. power meter, heart rate monitor, bike accessories etc.).
  • Extras: after participating in a one-time consultancy you are granted 10% off the bronze package price for the first 3 months.
How I work...

A training plan that is meant for you and only for you, considering your age, cycling background, availability, weekly training hours, current and targeted fitness, private goals and motivation. All training plans are set up with optimized, structured workouts and come with a collection of recommended core excercises, recovery and nutrition advices. For the Gold and Platinum Training Programmes, the monthly and weekly plans are integrated in your unique ATP (Annual Training Plan). All Training plans are communicated via TrainingPeaks and are synchronized with virtually all cycling computers (Garmin, Wahoo, Hammerhead, SRM, etc.) and indoor training platforms (Zwift, ROUVY, MyWhoosh, Bkool etc.). TrainingPeaks will remain free for you as an athlete: depending on your Training Programme, you can use a Basic account, or, for more advanced Programmes the Premium licence is included in the Program fee. Typical levels of planning (can vary based on the athlete's individual needs and goals):
  • Multi-year planning to define long-term goals. Find your lighthouse!
  • Annual Training Plan
  • In-year stages (Endurance, Intensity, Competition, Recovery)
  • Macro-, Meso- and Microcycles (3-4 weeks -> ... -> 1 week)

Data is king...

There is no effective training without continuous monitoring and data analysis. Processed data includes advanced cycling metrics (heart rate, cycling power, left/right balance, cadence), sleep hours, chronic and acute training load, environmental factors (temperature) and more. Your coach keeps track of your progress, fatigue and adaptation to training load in order to provide you with feedback on how your fitness is developing. If necessary, the annual, monthly and weekly training plans are adjusted. This is achieved with the help of a tried and tested tool set, based around the TrainingPeaks ecosystem.
